300lb Monolith
My first Burning Man art installation.
Recycled glass shower block & wood.
Designed to explore light, dark, and the concept of non-duality. Evening light cast shadow patterns onto the ground. Flowers on one side were color, the other side was black and white.
Built with my partner, Brian.

Therapist Plumbers and Neon Pipes
An immersive, narrative driven event centered around processing emotions. In the narrative, plumbers acted as a therapists, helping the main character "unclog" their problems.
As part of the plumber team, I helped design the game mechanics, build three interactive neon pipe stations, a fountain, and a hidden plumber's office accessed by completing the quest and finding a code.
In the hidden room, participants could "process their shit" by writing something they wanted to let go of, reflecting on the infinity toilet mirror, and honoring the fountain of John, an ode to plumbers everywhere.
WackRonalds
A thematic retro-future event where historians confused McDonalds as a historic cultural centerpiece akin to religion.
As part of the "historians" team, I worked to reimagine the history of WackRonald, develop a storyline that connected with the main narrative event, and create three physical and interactive stations. A pool noodle fry box, an "ordering kiosk" for confessing your sins, and a "values menu" game.
A late night performance included a ball pit, giant mouth, spoon, and many of the most faithful followers.

Primordial Soup
A thematic primordial event where participants were encouraged to evolve psychologically, physically, and relationally.
As part of the "evolution" team, we developed a quest that helped participants gain new traits and unlock new experiences. We built a thumb war arena for those that had evolved thumbs, a volcano trampoline to evolve heat resistance, deep-sea cooling vent to dry by the pool, and giant mushroom to reflect and connect to the network.
